Bootcamp Question

I was going to bootcamp my Mac, so i searched on the web on how to bootcamp my Mac, I saw a great tutorial, but do i need an USB Drive, whilst i have an official copy of Windows 7 and if i need an USB Drive, how much storage room needs to be on it?
