Has anybody else found that after performing ios 8 update digital av adapter doesn't work? I just get the message this accessory not supported

My digital AV adapter worked great until i went to IOS 8 on my Iphone 4S. Now the adapter is useless. I just get the message this accessory not supported. Used to be great for streaming netflix or hbogo on to a hdtv or projector. Really frustrated about this hope they fix this soon or let me go back to IOS 7. I may never buy another apple product again.
