Bluetooth LG HBS 900 Head Set

it's not about a headset being compatible

bluetooth have something called bluetooth profiles read more http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Bluetooth_profiles

if the headset is stated to support a bluetooth profile which the ios device support and it does not then it's because

one of the ends does not implement the profile correctly

Looking in LGs website, they should both be supported just fine on any iOS device through the A2DP BT Profile.

I can confirm it works fine so far. iPhone does not suppot the aptX from what I gather, so you may find better sound with other devices. Also I cannot seem to get the functionality of stating the current time and reading the latest SMS / MMS which the headset supports.

It's pretty sweet, an upgrade for me from one of LG's earlier models and in my opinion is the best way to do bluetooth.

I got the black / red one that is only available exclusively I think at Verizon stores.
