I have found 8 instances of something called GoogleVoiceAndVideoACCELSETUP_5.38.6.0 in my root drive. It will not delete or eject. Does anyone have any advice?

Restart the computer and try again.
It's a part of the Google Hangouts plugin.

I had the same issue, leesheppard's link worked like a charm. It should be noted that a restart was required to 'eject'.
I want to keep Hangout, just not the 8 copies of the installer. Any way to remove these without removing the plugin? I rebooted and removed them but they keep coming back over time.
