Q: Point all video directly to MacBook Air

Gear I am using:

  1. iPhone 5 - IOS 8.1.1
  2. 2014 MacBook Air (11") - Yosemite and newest update
  3. MacBook Pro (17") -  Yosemite and newest update
  4. Apple TV
  5. Several iPads using latest software (iPad 2, iPad Air and iPad Mini)

Software Apps I have and have used:

  1. Hudl (sports mobile capture, mark up,  edit and share software)
  2. Olloclip
  3. FILMIC Pro
  4. Camera Plus
  5. Ubersense
  6. Presence
  7. Transfer (simple Transfer by Rambax)
  8. SHAREit

I am using an iPhone 5 with an 2x Telephone lens from olloclip to shoot Football play. I shoot the "offencive play" up in the coaches box and then send it directly to HUDL (like youtube for sports, meaning you can shoot in the app and upload it directly to the hudl cloud for review and edit). Down on the fiels I have a TV I use as a monitor and attach it to an Apple TV.

The limitation of this current method is restricted by:

  1. Need to have internet to get Video to cloud and back down to field
  2. When playing away all data to internet is sent on a 4G cellular data plan (expensive to use all this data)
  3. I must use HUDL app to capture video and it is not as full featured as other video apps like FILMIC or even the onboard video app.
  4. HUDL mobile capture not all the way cooked

My question and goal:

Coaches Box end -

  • Cisco 8 Port Switch
  • MacBook Air via Ethernet
  • EnGenius wireless bridge (5Ghz) via Ethernet

Sidelines

  • Cisco 8 Port Switch
  • MacBook pro
  • EnGenius wireless bridge
  • AirPort extream
  • Apple TV and TV as the monitor

I need to be able to shoot Video with my iPhone 5, have that Video go directly to my MacBook Air (via Thunderbolt I assume for speed) and be able to share it with anyone on my private network within 30 seconds. So the Offense goes out on field, I shoot five downs and then they punt. The offense then comes directly off the field and sits down in front of monitor and review last series. It need to be instant download on very very easy and fast transfer?

What software/process can I use to get this done without internet.

iPhone 5, iOS 8.1.1
