Dec 9, 2014 6:07 AM in response to ugzrubenby nick101,Have you tried going to the Canon support site, downloading the latest driver and reinstalling?

Dec 9, 2014 6:53 AM in response to nick101by ugzruben,Canon's site says the following:
There is no driver for the OS Version you selected. The driver may be included in your OS or you may not need a driver.

Dec 9, 2014 10:03 AM in response to ugzrubenby John Blanchard1,It's shown as supported on OS X: Printer and scanner software available for download - Apple Support. You should be able to get the right driver by using Software Update with the printer on and connected or by downloading the Canon drivers here: Canon Inkjet Printer Drivers v2.12 for OS X.
Hope this helps.

Jan 5, 2015 2:31 PM in response to John Blanchard1by arcadelt,No, that link actually shows that it is no longer supported via software update and to contact Canon. Link back to the OP quote:

Feb 21, 2015 10:00 AM in response to ugzrubenby Jonah7985,I am having the same problem, and got the answer that arcadelt mentioned for driver to support Canon BJC 85. Has anyone got it to work yet? I have to admit I have had nothing but problems since upgrading to Yosemite, the reason I am now using this printer is because Yosemite no longer recognises my Kodak WIFI printer. Apple get a grip

Jun 4, 2015 9:26 AM in response to ugzrubenby Aoptimizer,I'm having the same issue. I had it before and after my upgrade to Yosemite, any solution yet?

Jun 4, 2015 9:45 AM in response to Aoptimizerby greg sahli,Same issue doesn't tell us much.
If you mean a driver for bjc-85, then it's true that Canon no longer supports it.
This alternate driver set DOES support that model:
http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.php
(don't get source code - get the standard Mac installer Disk Image .dmg file.)
