what version of openGL is in OS X Mountain Lion

Looking to upgrade an After Effects plugin that requires openGL 2.1 and was looking for info on what version ships with Mountain Lion. I am currently on 10.6.8 which has openGL 1.6

Hoping the native OS framework will suffice without the need to upgrade my GPU

Any idea where to find this info
