I won't even begin vent about my frustrations with the annoying AUTOSAVE in Pages and Numbers.
How do I DISABLE or TURN OFF this feature?
If impossible, is there at least a way to prompt a SAVE-AS option?

System Preferences > General > Ask to keep changes when closing documents. Disables auto-save, and by quitting Pages, it will pop a dialog requesting to revert the changes (quit without saving), cancel, or actually Save the changes.

To Save As..., hold down the Option key (Alt on some keyboards) and pull down the File menu. The shortcut is Command-Option-Shift-S.
How do you turn OFF Auto Save in Pages and Numbers?
