Q: Do I need any Apple software besides iTunes on my PC?

I Have  iTunes on my PC but now find a number other Apple programs. Can I delete them?

i Use Windows 7.

What other Apple programs are you referring to? You need Bonjour which is what connects and communicates with your iOS device, and the services that accompany such as iTunes Helper, iPod Service, Apple Mobile Device driver, etc.

    Besides iTunes and Bonjour I have Apple Applications Support, Apple Mobile Device Support, Apple software update, Safari, Apple VoiceOver kit. do I need all these. I have an IPod and an iPad.

    I'm not aware of the Apple VoiceOver kit, and I never knew you could install Safari on a PC. The rest are all necessary. The Apple Software update will notify you of updates to iTunes and iCloud.
