The map on "Find my Iphone' has broken and missing grids
There are missing grids and broken grids on the map. Places the phone in the wrong area. Even when refreshing. This is only on PC, not on my ipad or another iPhone.
iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1.1

Hello Willie
I also have the same problem like you do. There are missing and broken grids and the phone is placed in the wrong area. This happens on my Macbook Pro. Still, I haven't had any solution yet.

Me Too! Thought it may have been Windows Updates but After uninstalling them the issue persists.
I have worked through this. I fixed it here by going to Internet Explorer advanced settings and doing a "Reset..." Reset Internet Explorer Settings to default.
Hope this helps!

I, too, have the same problem on both PC and Mac. It makes the map function pretty much worthless. Tried the suggested "fix" of resetting Internet Explorer settings to default. Didn't work. I know that Apple dropped Goggle maps and went with its on mapping system. Too bad. ICloud and find-my-phone were once valued products.
Same here. Very disappointing. I was going to get an iphone for my daughter so I could keep track of her but with this problem I might as well get a cheap phone for her. I'll wait a while and see if they fix it.
I have the broken grids on Google Chrome only. Microsoft IE grids are fine. Is it a Chrome or Apple problem?
I have this problem on a Windows PC and laptop, both Chrome and IE. After a long sequence of page reloads it will occasionally display a fully loaded map. Installed Safari on the laptop and PC and "find my iphone" now works fine every time. The map on Safari does not seem to have as much detail but it is good enough in Hybrid mode. I wish the "find my iphone" would work with Chrome.
Go to you IE setting, compatibility view setting, click add "icloud.com", close
I set Zoom = 100% in browser options, reload a page, and all was fixed. Try this on Chrome and IE.
mpstudio: Your solution worked perfectly on all of my browsers (IE, Chrome & Firefox). Thank you very much!!!
ya amazing weird method but it fixed the issue on my chrome browser in mac.
What a fix, zoom=100%. Thanks.
Zoom = 100% fixed it for me too. Thank you so much for sharing.
worked like a charm...thanks!
I tried the same but unlike everyone else, it did not work. I'm using Chrome, zoom set at 100% and I still have the problem. I also downloaded the latest video driver, just in case. Nothing seems to work. Any other suggestions?
