iPhone 5s won't play videos at all?

Hi all,

So recently I have been facing problems playing videos on my iPhone 5s, be it Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter or Youtube. It's been about 2 days and before that everything was fine.

The reason I say its my iPhone is because my laptop works fine with YouTube therefore my router is fine too. It's just my iPhone that's facing problems. I saw before that maybe I didn't have enough space, but I have 2GB on my iCloud and 3GB on my phone so that's not an issue. It's frustrating me and I don't know what more I can do. Everything else loads perfectly like web pages and can surf the Internet but videos and loading pictures on Twitter (with 3G) isn't working at all!

I Can't even play them using 3G/4G so either its a software issue (doubt it because it was working before too) or some hardware issue.

Just as a summary because I know ive rambled a bit:

Wont play videos on Youtube or Tumblr using WiFi and Cellular
twitter wont load images using 3G

Any tips would be appreciated!!

Hi ShayyyMo,

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with video and images on your iPhone. If this is happening across multiple pages in Safari, you may want to check to make sure that Javascript hasn't been inadvertently disabled, as noted in the following article:

Allow JavaScript

To change your settings, tap Settings > Safari > Advanced and turn JavaScript on or off. JavaScript lets web programmers control elements of the page. For example, a page that uses JavaScript might show the current date and time or cause a linked page to appear in a new pop-up page.
