Can I set up an iTunes allowance for my daughter who lives in a different country?

I live in USA, and my daughter lives in France. I'd like to either send her an iTunes gift card, or set up an allowance. My account is in the US store, hers is in the French store. Can I do this? and How?

Thanks

Hi there,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

From your post I understand that you're seeing if it's possible to gift iTunes credit internationally. If you buy a gift card in one country, it cannot be redeemed in another.

You can't redeem purchased gifts outside of the country of purchase. For example, an iTunes Gift purchased in France can't be redeemed in an iTunes Store outside of France. You can contact Apple Supportto cancel an iTunes Gift up to two days before scheduled delivery.

However you are able to go to Apple's French online store to purchase a physical gift card, which would allow you to buy and send to your daughter. If you do not speak or read French, then you can give this phone number a call for assistance: 800-692-7753
