Q: getting rid of old apple id?

I seem to have multiple apple id's associated with my devices and itunes store media and apps. How do I merge them or just ged rid of the old ones?

If you go to your iCloud Account you should be able to select which devices are associated with your Apple ID.

You can't merge or delete them. You just chose one to use. Be aware that apps are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them. You will that information to update them unless you delete them and repurchase them with the ID you wish to use.
