Does your iPhone connect to any other Bluetooth system, such as speakers, headset, a photo kiosk, etcetera?  If so, then the Bluetooth on the iPhone is working properly.

Yes it works fine on my other devices, I was enquiring if there is any way of boosting my signal as it only shows 2 bars on my media Nav but my wife's android shows 4 bar

Consult Renault.  If your iPhone connects to other Bluetooth devices, then it (the iPhone) is working properly.

I have been discussing this issue with Renault for some time and because other phones work fine then they saying the Bluetooth signal strength on my phone is the reason its poor ,I have also tried my sons iPhone 6 which is also poor, I me wondering if it just not compatible. i was hoping there was a way of boosting my Bluetooth signal

Here we use MediaNav with iPhone4s, 5, and 5s. I use spotify to stream music, it works great. But each approx. 15s the signal drops for a moment.

I believe there is nothing wrong with the bluetooth connection of the iPhones, as I use them with other audio systems.

The link belows shows the following stated:

"There is a fault with the MediaNav Bluetooth connection when streaming music."

"Renault are aware of the fault and will not be telling any new customers"

    "It is not a priority"

"There is no timescale for a fix"

After having the same issue with my 2014 Clio RS200 Cup and extensive contact with Renault Australia. They have informed me that around week 15 of this year (2015) they will have replacement hardware for any cars that have this issue. This will be done by the dealers. I would suggest seeing your local dealer and getting them to organise this for you

Have you got any update on HW update? My Clio 2014 is having the same annoying problem with gaps every now and then. In addition, the hands free sound quality is really poor, and I have to stop my car before I can be heard on the other end... will consult the dealer soon.

Any news? Here, in Italy, seems that renault forgot about us... Did anyone found a solution in the meantime? With Android phone the problem does not happen... Maybe a third part app could work? (I tried with vlc and others but no solution...)

I took delivery of a new Clio in December 2015 and immediately had these Bluetooth problems with my iPhone.  The dealer offered a software upgrade which didn't work, and told me to use a USB cable as the Bluetooth processor was faulty.  This was not a satisfactory response with a new car advertised as having Bluetooth.  After reading this April  2015 post (thanks for the good advice), I followed up with Renault Australia.  Eventually Renault Australia offered me the replacement hardware fix.  It was fitted last week and works very well.  Apparently there are limited quantities of the replacement units in Australia, presumably elsewhere too.  Neither Renault Australia nor the dealer offered the replacement unit to me, I had to raise it with them and keep following up.

I need your help. Can you send me some documents I could use at my country to make my dealer do hardware fix at my Media Nav? I bought Clio at September 2015 and have the same issue with bluetooth. Dealer is not taking care of it and doesn't see it as a problem. Maybe some documents of your repair or tips from your dealer? Anything that would help me make those guys who sold me car to fix it. Please try to help me somehow! e mail: arrturek @ gmail . com
