Q: I deleted the cache for my apps how do i get them back

I was deleting files from my computer and I deleted the itunes cache files. How do i get my apps back?

If you mean that you've deleted the apps files from your computer's hard-drive then you might be able to redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage - if you still have them listed in the Apps part of your iTunes library then you will need to delete them from there before they will get the cloud icon in Purchased for redownloading (otherwise iTunes will see them listed there and assume that you still have them). If an app is no longer in your country's store then you won't be able to redownload it.

 

Or (and after deleting them from your iTunes Apps library if they are there) you can copy them back from your iPad via the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option
