no interface supported? yosemite 10.10.1 garageband 10.0.3

Is there a usb audio interface that works 100% with garageband 10.0.3?
I habe a Macbook pro mid 2012 (usb 3.0) with yosemite 10.10.1 installed.
saffire 6 usb & steinberg ur22 don't work (bad clicking noises).

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

I'm in the same position. I have the current model Mackie Onyx Blackjack & it's unusable with the current Garageband. I got frustrated so I looked at Apple's store for a quick solution. Okay, there's the Focusrite 2x2. I'll just cough up the cash and move on. Further research shows it's also not compatible with the current Garageband. Good God, I just want a compatible interface to run 2 mics! I simply cannot believe this situation.

I'm using a old M-Audio Fast Track Pro a really cheap Alesis i/o 4 and a very nice Apogee iMic without any problems.


If you're having problems with Focusrite interface's try removing any old third party audio drivers and put the interface in class compliant mode. I did this for a friend when Mavericks came out. We had to download something from Focusrite to do this.


Not sure if this will work for Yosemite but it sounds like the same problem that started with 10.9
