Tethered Internet on Win8 Desktop stops working after Itunes 12.0.1 install

Hi, the internet on my Win8 Desktop, sourced by tethering from IPhone 4S, stopped working when I upgraded Itunes to 12.0.1.

So I removed ITunes 12.0.1 and did a System Restore in Windows and the internet started working again. So to prove it I re-installed Itunes and no more internet. Removed Itunes, did a System Restore, and have internet again. I will not re-install ITunes anymmore. Much to daughter's disgust. The previous version of Itunes did not cause this problem. Can anyone help?
