I can"t delete podcasts from my ipod touch

I have deleted all the podcasts off itunes and from the library on the computer. They still show up on the Ipod Touch. I have gone to settings on the Touch but there is no Podcast selection. How do I get these podcasts off my Ipod Touch? I have tried everything I can find on the net.
