Q: FCP express HD when I go to "Log and transfer", don't transfer.

Hi. I got an Imac 21.5 ,2010 with 10.9.5 maverick and 4GB of ram.  I installed the FCP express HD.  when I go to "Log and transfer", shows all the clips and when I click for log and transfer, simply does nothing. It's shows that it's trying but at the end, nothing it's transfer. What it could be? Thanks.

Final Cut Express, Mac OS X (10.6.8), 2.8 intel core duo. memory 4GB 800

What are the properties of the source material you want to ingest?

    What camera shot this footage?

FCE cannot log and transfer AVCHD material that was shot at 1080 60p as that standard did not exist when FCE was discontinued.

Is your copy of FCE updated to 4.0.1?

The camera was a Panasonic SDT 750 in AVCHD but wasn't recorded in 60P. only 30P. The version it's 4.0. What it's weird FCP express 4.0 works perfectly in my Imac 2008 with the panasonic 750 in AVCHD 30p but it doesn't do anything in the late 2010 Imac. I don't get it.

You have to make sure you have the version of FCE 4.0.1   -   It is the only version of FCE that supports AVCHD ingest.
