Printing from Aperture 1.5 on either Epson StylusPro 2000 or Cannon Pixma 4200, each with the latest software / drivers, shows vertical striping across the page. The same files print in iPhoto just fine. Any suggestions or solutions are appreciated.
Make sure on the printer driver you have selected the right paper type or the closest to the one you're using. On color managment make sure it's off (Aperture will handle this). Also avoid using hi-speed printing for best results.
Have a paper by Fuji which says it is specifically for Canon. But I have also tried with different papers. No color management set by the printer. And to my knowledge there are no high speed printing set on the Pixma.
I've seen this type of posting in the past. Here are some settings you want to make sure are set:
1. Correct Installed Driver (Obviously).
2. Select Printer Settings:
2a. in Printer settings, select the correct Printer.
2b. select the "Layout" popup and choose "Print Settings".
2c. select the correct "Media Type".
2d. select "Advanced" if that was an option.
2e. deselect the "High Speed".
2f. change the "Print Quality" to the highest setting (mine is Photo RPM).
2g. Select the "Print Setting popup again and go to color Management and turn it OFF. Click <Done>
3. Select the correct Color Profile under "Colorsync Profile". This will need to be added to your colorsync folder if it is not already there.
4. Save the Preset so it is there for the next time.
Hope that solves your problem.

I am interested in purchasing Aperture and am wondering if the print function allows multiple photo printing for either one photo or many photo's in selected sizes or range; for instance, 4 x 5 or 5 x 7 on 4 x 5 or 5 x 7 glossy photo paper? Photoshop does not allow these sizes except for printing on full sheets of photo paper.
