Late 2013 MacBook Pro with Retina producing extreme heat. Also delayed display when waking up from sleep

Earlier this year I bought a New macbookPro with Retina Display (late 2013 specs displayed below) and I have noticed that it gets really really hot while using it for a couple of hours. I use to have an older Macbook Pro (without Retina) and it never got as hot as my current one, even when I used it longer. The bottom and top part where the fans are of the Macbook get so hot it burns when I touch it. I know this is not normal for computers and it can cause damage to the internal parts.

My Macbook also has a hard time waking up right after it falls to sleep. the only thing that is displayed is the mouse and I have to wait a couple of minutes for the computer to fully wake up and displaying the desktop.

Please help with these issues. I have tried multiple troubleshoot solutions that have been provided by the Apple support website and they have not fixed the problem. My computer still get hot and there is a delayed wake up. I know this is not normal for Apple products and It is sad that my older macbook Pro without Retina display is working better than my New Macbook Pro with Retina.

I use Safari and Chrome just normal use (email, surfing the web and some video). My old macbook pro didn't get nearly as hot as my Retina when I do the same stuff on it.

Also I have noticed that as soon as my computer goes to sleep and I try to wake it, All there is displayed is a black screen and the mouse. I Have to wake a few minutes for the screen display my desktop.

It has been my observation that retina MBP run hotter that the prior generations. In spite of that I think that your best option is to make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar and have them test the MBP. I think that peace of mind may important for you. 🙂
