Q: I have the ipad 4 (new ipad) after iOS 8 update, now unresponsive. Please help!

I have the ipad 4 (new ipad) and did the lastest update (iOS 8) and now ipad shows battery low (has been plugged in for days). It did not do this before update. What can I do to fix?
