Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
i edited info.plist so i could make a bootable usb, cuz all my boot camp assistant said was "install windows 7"
now boot camp assistant won't even open
i did it according to this guide:
could it be because its for mountain lion, i hadn't noticed that till i saw the url
any ideas for how to fix it?
is there a way to simply reinstall the boot camp assistant software
also, i already tried just removing the new data i entered in Xcode
i click on boot camp assistant and it just crashes
You need to code sign the Application. Please see Enable Bootcamp to install from usb for OSX 10.9**WORKS** and in Terminal use man codesign and look at --deep qualifier.
so i went to your linked thread, and i entered the info for steps 1,2,3
so now, as u said, i need to code sign
first, in Terminal, i entered the info from step 4 above
this is what it said then:
"code object not signed at all"
i didn't really understand what connection u wanted me to make from the thread u linked and the advice u also gave
but i entered "man codesign" - and i don't see anything about "deep qualifier"
fixed thx
How did you fixed it ?
I am having the same issue.
I went to editing the plist and than started crashing.
What you did after that, that fixed your problem ?
Did you use the --deep qualifier?
