Q: how to sync windows phone with mac using yosemite

Since I've upgraded my mac to yosemite I can no longer sync my windows phone (Nokia 610) using zune. Does anyone have a workaround?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10), nokia lumia 610

A:

You have dropped the first letter of the command where the reply was "command not found". It's "sudo...", not "udo..."

Simply repeat that command again and it should work.

Thanks but I'm afraid no Joy. I've included a screenshot of terminal, one of the entries gives "command not found". So maybe this is where I'm going wrong.
Can anyone expand on this for me.

That's weird. So far, it worked for everyone. Can you completely delete the Windows Phone app, then reinstall it from the Mac App Store and finally redo all the steps?
If that doesn't work, either, please send me an e-mail...

The email on your page does not seem to be valid anymore.

I have a similar issue with Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone app in OSX El Capitan. It does not recognize Windows Phone 8 devices anymore since the upgrade to El Captian. Also they removed the Windows Phone app from the Appstore with no information what so ever.

The changes you made in your page... can they be implemented for Windows Phone 8 as well?

There would be many people who would really be happy if there could be a fix, because I doubt it that Windows will address this issue.

Could you please tell me if this would be possible.
