Application ( Anime Studio Pro 10 ) suddenly refuses to startup

Hi all,

I don' t know if many of you use Anime Studio Pro 10, but this is what happened:

Over the past few weeks, I have been working on several animations in Anime Studio and all went well until yesterday.

Today I started to work - as my client needs these animations by the end of the week - but when clicking the icon in the dock, Anime Studio begins to load but then suddenly quits.

I tried several times, then decided to uninstall any related file ( except my animations of course ) and reinstalled a fresh copy.

This didn' t solve it, so I assume there' s something else playing up.

I didn' t install other software over the past few days, so I wonder what is happening.

Not sure if I have to post the entire logfile here, but below are some parts of it.

I do hope anyone can help me out here ...

Regards,

Peter

Hello Peter,

My software did something similar just yesterday on 10.6.8

Hi Eric,

It seems the problem is solved by now.

Around noon ( here in Belgium) , it suddenly started to work again, but I had posted a support ticket at the developers site yesterday and got an answer about half an hour ago.

This is what they said:

A recent update to Mac OS Security has changed some behavior. We have needed online updates in place now, which should allow you to launch and use the software.

Before Launching

Shut down your system

Start your system

Launch Safari and make sure you are not blocking Scripting

Launch the application and let me know if you still get the error.

If you were offline you may need to reactivate the software.

Hope all is solved ! 🙂
