How do I change or recover a forgotten Apple ID Password?
If you've forgotten your Apple ID Password or want to change it, go to My Apple ID and follow the instructions. See Changing your Apple ID password if you'd like more information.

Email authentication: To access your information, we will send an email to the address(es) on file for you.
Answer security questions: To access your information, you will need to answer the security question(s) provided when you originally created your Apple ID.
still cant get it to work

Dec 14, 2014 12:29 PM in response to Essensecby KiltedTim,Contact iTunes support. If they can't help you, then you're hosed. The last resort would be to take the device along with the original proof of purchase to Apple and ask them to remove the activation lock. If you can not prove original ownership of the device, then it's a brick. Permanently.
