Jan 20, 2015 4:46 AM in response to Nathan Jones2by Shellshocd,Ok, So i just purchased the iPhone 6 Plus 64 GB version and prior to the iOS 8.1.2 update, everything worked perfectly fine. Upon updating to iOS 8.1.2 i began facing stuttering issues with the graphics, which i solved by resetting the phone and setting it up as a new one. Stability aside, the camera also worked perfectly fine prior to iOS 8.1.2.
Today I had the time to check out the camera and while transitioning (goes blurry) and switching between camera modes, the viewfinder stays blurred and hangs up. I like to record 60 fps video which worked fine on the older software version, but now this is indeed what causes my iPhone 6 Plus camera app to crash.
So i switched it back to the 30 fps mode and everything works absolutely fine. Guess this is a software bug that came with 8.1.2. The camera hangs up when you switch from photo to any of the 3 video modes (slo-mo, time lapse or video).
Hope Apple rectifies the error in the 8.1.3 update.

Mar 20, 2015 8:26 PM in response to swethafromnullby Efuru2,Hi Swethafromnull,
I had the same problem after updating to 8.1.3, the back camera worked some of the times, the front camera was always blurry, just like your pict. Until the update, I had never had a problem with the phone, other than the battery recall they had last year. So I took the phone back to Apple today, they said the update revealed a flaw in the camera settings. They also commented on how my phone was in great condition! (Never dropped or wet) They then said, (since my phone was out of warranty and since I didn't splurge on Applecare coverage) I would have to pay for the fix. In addition to this, I also asked if could they just back the iOS up to an earlier version that worked? I was told no, they couldn't back the iOS up to the previous edition . Needless to say, I was very disappointed with Apple ;( They really should stand by their product better!
Good luck!
