There is a slash through the play button on Safari when trying to watch videos, can anyone help me with this? I already tried resetting my iPod 4th gen.

But, is there anyway to get rid of the slash, because I used to be able to watch videos on Safari like that.
No. Adobe makes Flash players and they stopped development of Flash players on ALL mobile devices about three years ago.
The YouTube site detects that you are on a mobile platform and serves up the video in HTML5.

Very likely the video requires Flash with no iOS devices like the iPod touch supports.
Some site have apps that yo can use.
It happens on any site in general (except youtube).
Is there anyway to get Flash?

If you go to Settings>Safari>Advanced do you have Javascript turned on?
Do you have any Restrictions set? Settings>General>Restrictions?
