I am trying to recover some data off of an unresponsive flash drive. When plugged into any computer, the light on the flash drive does not turn on at all. The computer also does not recognize that the flash drive is connected. Anyone know any tricks? This is some report card information for a couple teachers and they are desperate...

There’s nothing you can do yourself. Your only hope is to ship the drive to a data recovery specialist. Be prepared to pay big bucks so you have to decide whether the lost data is worth the high price. If the computers won’t recognize that it is plugged in then it is fried.
Have checked several places which indicate they do, but when calling them they indicate they do not. Hence the request for specific recommendations other than Drive Savers.
