Dec 16, 2014 4:15 PM in response to Linc Davisby PurplePowerhouse,Actually the media shows up just fine in iTunes. And the song names & album art show up on my iPhone in playlists & such...but when it comes time to play those tracks, they're just skipped over. It's like everything got synced except for the actual music file.

Dec 16, 2014 4:57 PM in response to Linc Davisby PurplePowerhouse,The one pointer on turning off the phone's wi-fi, putting it in airplane mode, connecting it directly to the computer and THEN syncing seems to be the right fix. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Linc, I appreciate it. I've been banging my head on against a wall for months trying to figure this problem out.

Dec 16, 2014 5:00 PM in response to PurplePowerhouseby PurplePowerhouse,Oops, I spoke too soon. The problem now seems to be tracks from CD's I've ripped...same as before, showing up on the phone but won't play.
