AirDrop messed up chronological photo order

I Used airdrop from my iPhone 5s with 8.1.2 to my iPad 4 with 8.1.2 to transfer my favorite photos. The transfer worked, but the chronological order is messed up. How do I move the photos around in the iPad camera roll? Thanks

I have a similar issue with Airdrop - actually one of many trying to develop any type of standard photo workflow on IOS. I take hundreds of photos using iPhone7Plus then intend to Airdrop them to iPad Pro for selection and edits. Sadly, the order of the photos received on the iPad is completely random????? Making it impossible to review multiple photos taken at the same time to select the best image for edits - or to quickly scan through the photos in chronological order. Has anyone found a solution to this???
