Q: iphone 6 bluetooth tethering. Lenovo table is not supported.

I am trying to tether my iPhone 6 to a Lenovo Yoga Tablet running 4.2.2 Tablet pairs fine but my iPhone say "not supported" is this a Lenovo problem or Apple? Is it possible at all?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.2

A:

You should not need to Pair the tablet to the iPhone. Simply look for the iPhone in the Wifi network list on the tablet like you would a regular Wifi network. .

It should be possible if your cellular carrier plan supports it. If it isn't due to that, the following has some troubleshooting that may help: iOS: Troubleshooting Personal Hotspot - Apple Support

my Personal Hotspot works fine and my data plan supports it. I can see the Lenovo Tablet but I am getting the message "Not Supported". Perhaps it's an Apple to Android compatibility issue.

I doubt that it would be an Apple to Android problem, but it is probably an issue with the way that you are trying to connect the tablet to the phone. How are you trying to connect, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cable?
