since iOS 8 I haven't had anything working when it comes to airplay/ or remote app working on my apple tv's. The app loads and sees the Apple TV's on the network but won't connect to it anymore.
I have an:
ASUS AC-87u router
iphone 6 plus Ios 8.1.2
iPad Air 2 iOS 8.1.2
Apple TV 3rd Gen
2013 macbook pro Yosemite
iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.1
