Profile Installation Failed
Hi all,
Im currently a network technician at a primary school and we currently have a mac mini which runs the latest Mac OSX version of Yosemite and the latest OSX Server installed on it too.
What I didn't realise is that updating the server can affect certain features on the Mac which is what one of my colleagues told me. In my case we use our mac mini to manage a range of iPad's for childrens use through profile manager, but I updated the server as an update was available and this caused everything to go upside down.
As I took over from a previous technician that setup Mac OSX Server, profile manager etc.. I didn't know where to start with reconfiguring it so I did a clean install of Mac OSX Yosemite and reinstalled Mac OSX Server. I managed to setup profile manager and the necessary services such as open directory for the self-signed certificate. Everything is working as it should, until I tried enrolling the mac mini I am using onto device manager. I can add the trust profile without any issues and the 'settings for everyone' profile (which just includes our Wi-Fi details) without any issues but when I try to install the profile for 'remote management' it gets as far as asking for the administrator credentials and then it states this;
If anyone could be of assistance in this situation I would be very grateful. I am more than happy to help out with providing more information where required.
Thanks, Hasan
Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)
