Q: updated phone to iso8 and now my texts i recieve and alerts are going to my husbands phone as well. Is there anyway to correct this???

My husband and I currently have iphone 4S. We have been using my Apple ID. I just upgraded to iso8 and in doing so now all my texts and alerts I received on my phone are now showing up on my husbands phone as well. Is there a way to correct this??? Would really appreciate some help with this and hoping its a quick fix. If I could even go back to iso7 I would.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

If I understand your post correctly, both you and your husband share an Apple ID, and are both receiving the same messages on your iPhones. This issue indicates that both of your phones are signed into iMessage with the same Apple ID on both devices, thus are receiving the same messages. Simply sign out of iMessage one on your husband's iPhone, and have him sign in on his own.
