Q: Final Cut 10.1.4 never startup after upgrade

Three days ago I upgrade FCPX from 10.1.3 to 10.1.4 (Appstore). Now I try to open it and it never starts, I dont see the splash screen. It only shows a little light in the icon and then stops. I have tried to delete preference, start it from a different user but nothing has happened.

Please help me to solve this issue. Gracias!

Howdy abracacurix,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

If the application won't start in another user account as well, it's time to simply delete the application from the computer, and reinstall it from your purchases in the Mac App Store.

Mac Apps
Click the Launchpad in the Dock.
Click and hold the app you want to delete.
The apps will begin to jiggle.
Click the X that appears.

Download past purchases - Apple Support
