Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
The following article should help you share book purchases with other members of your family.

Aug 7, 2016 8:06 PM in response to jeffd55by hungrysokoke,Hi Jeff,
My family and I are able to share purchased apps and music, so at least part of the sharing system is working (as a positive control).
However, when we go into iBooks>Purchased>Family member's name>Books, nothing shows up. Even if we wait for a while (as is sometimes necessary for apps), nothing shows up. We have tried restarting the phone and logging in and out of iCloud.
What should we do?

Aug 8, 2016 6:00 AM in response to hungrysokokeby mmb001,Hello community,
I've the same challange
Myself as the Family organizer bought a book for my child in ibooks a few minutes ago.
I can see the Family members in the ibooks purchased section and can click on their names and after that I can select books.
Than a list with categories turns up which Shows me the correct number of books in this categories - this Shows me that I've Access to the Family members accounts.
But than I can not see the books within this categories to download them to other devices.
Please help!
Kind regards
MMB

Aug 9, 2016 8:21 AM in response to kbehnkeby hfitkin73,I am having the very same problem. I can get to the family share for apps, and music, but when I try to see the books of my other family members, it just gives me a list of the genre with the number of books next to it, but when I click on the list nothing happens.
