Q: podcasts being replaced

Hello,

 

For the past two days several podcasts, of which I am subscribed, have been replaced by a series of random podcasts that I have never signed up for before. For instance, the podcast "Revolutions" has been replaced by one called "Welcome to Night Vale." This has not happened to all of my podcasts, but several of them are showing the same "Welcome to Night Vale" podcast.

 

I have tried to unsubscribe and resubscribe and it just downloads the podcast that I don't want. I have also tried to switch between wifi on and off and still have had no luck.

 

Anyone have any ideas?

    I am having the same issue. I have submitted a bug to apple bug reporter. Specifically every time i refresh my podcasts 3-4 of them are replaced by a random other podcast, it starts with night vale then becomes daily *** and each day as you pull to refresh it will change to something else.  interestingly, unsubscribing and resubscribing to the podcasts that were replaced will subscribe you to the wrong ones.

    I am having the same issue, however, my podcasts are being replaced by The History of Rome.  Very annoying since I'm abroad right now and I'm not able to always access data/wi-fi.
