After Yosemite update, my iMac (Safari) won't load results from google searches that reside in Wikipedia. I can go to Wikipedia, do a search and navigate to a result. But if I do a google search and then click on a result that is going to wikipedia, the resultant page just hangs when I click on it and won't load.
iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)
1. Empty Caches
Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
2. Delete Cookies
Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:
Click “Remove All Website Data”.
3. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
Turn off Extensions if any and launch Safari again to test.
Turn on those one by one and test.
Still either does not load correctly or takes an extremely long time to load...pages are loading but can take up to a minute to come up. Could this be a DNS problem.
