Q: Completer wants to make changes

I just got a pop up saying "Completer wants to make changes.  The your password to allow this."  Has anyone ever seen this?

    Many thanks,  I asked for a idiots guide, and you supplied it, took me no more than 10 minutes to work it out, now it seems as if it has left me, can not understand how I could not find it with apples instructions, but appeared straight away from yours.

    Like all manual instructions, they go out of date as new adware appears, or the writers of known adware change the names of the files that get installed, and where they are installed to on the drive. Apple hasn't been keeping their instructions current.

    Not only that, but they simply never included information about some adware. They covered the most common adware at the time, but don't cover a number of other things.

    Yup, I noticed that, too. Some types of adware aren't even on their instruction page.

     

    Nice of them to provide manual steps, but they need to keep on top of it in order for the page to be useful. It's already running well behind.
