I'm using Garageband 11 on Yosemite, and when I try to add effects to a track, only the AU effects are showing up. I'm trying to find the Garageband effects, eg. Reverb, Echo, Automatic Filter, Bitcrusher etc.
This is the first time I have had this problem, and I'm not sure why this is happening.

Are the GarageBand effects showing, when you are using a different track, e.g. an audio track?
Are the GarageBand effects showing, when you are using a different project?
Are any plug-in settings installed in /Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Instrument Library/Plug-In Settings/ ?
Bitcrusher, Track Reverb, Chorus, .... ?
When I went to the 'Plug-In Settings' folder, the garageband effects were missing.
So I borrowed my friend's computer and transferred the 'Plug-In Settings' over to my instrument library.
And it worked!
