unable to cache files after upgrade of iOS 8.0

Hi All,

We have an Offline application accessible in iPAD, where the users download the questionaires, fill it offline and then upload it. There are certains files which are cached in the Safari browser, so that when the user is offline the view of the page is displayed as it appears online.
This application was working fine with iOS 7.0. Once the users upgraded their iOS to 8.0 the user started getting the error while caching the files.

The application is developed in HTML 5.0, jquery
Static files are cached using Cache manifest file
Local data storage is working fine, but files fails to download.
The IIS Authentication used is Basic authentication. However, when using anonymous authentication the files are cached and the issue get resolved. We need to use Basic Authentication.

Please suggest a method to resolve this issue.

Thanks & Regards,

Geeta.
