Q: managing my devices on my intel iMac but they don't show up in my account

I have an early 2009 iMac 2.66ghz intel core with 4 gbs memory and I'm running yosemite 10.10.1

I am trying to get my iPad and iPhone under my iMacs apple ID. The iPad mini has version 8.1.2 installed model MD535LL/A has 27.3 GBs and we use AT&T. The iPhone has 27.3 GBs and is model MC919LL/A.

My problem is when I go to store>view my account from the iTunes menu they don't show up. I have synced them to the computer.

How do i get them to show up?

Hope i posted this in the correct spot.

    Hi nesonmcbride,

Welcome to the Support Communities!  The following resources will help you associate your iPad and iPhone with your Apple ID.

Apple - Support - My Support Profile
    https://supportprofile.apple.com

If you don't see your iPad or iPhone listed, click on the "Add Products" link at the bottom left corner of this page.

iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT4627

When you turn on iTunes Match or Automatic Downloads, or when you download past purchases on an iOS device or computer, that device or computer becomes associated with your Apple ID. Your Apple ID can have up to 10 devices and computers (combined) associated with it, with a maximum of 5 computers at any time. Each computer must also be authorized using the same Apple ID. Once a device or computer is associated with your Apple ID, you cannot associate that device or computer with another Apple ID for 90 days. You can view which devices or computers are currently associated with your Apple ID, remove unused devices or computers, and view how many days remain before the devices or computers can be associated with a different Apple ID from the Account Information page in iTunes on your computer:

    1. Open iTunes.
    2. Sign in to your Apple ID by choosing Store > Sign In from the iTunes menu.
    3. Choose Store > View My Account from the iTunes menu.
    4. From the Account Information screen, click Manage Devices

Next to each device or computer name, you will be able to see when each device or computer was associated with your Apple ID. You will also be able to track how many days remain before your associated devices or computers can be associated with a different Apple ID.

Note: If no devices have been associated with the Apple ID, then the Manage Devices section will not be visible.

I hope this information helps ....
