modification dates change when copying after server upgrade from 10.5 to 10.6

Hi all,

We had this funny issue where Finder copies to a Network volume on the server, which worked fine when the Server was running 10.5.8. We upgraded to 10.6.8 and now, when files are copied onto the volumes on the Server, the Finder-copied files take the date of copy action (as its Modification date.)

The workstations where this issue happens on are running OS X 10.8 and 10.9. AFP is the file sharing protocol. We performed the 10.5 to 10.6 upgrade using the 10.6 Server installation disc. We also ran all the System Updates bringing the server to 10.6.8.

Has anyone ever seen this before after upgrading?

Thanks in advance,

-Yiu
