Since I still use the same phone number that I used to deregister imessage, does that mean I can't recieve or send imessages now?

When I switched to an android, I deregistered imessage using the webpage. I decided to buy a new iphone. Since I still use the same phone number that I used to deregister imessage, does that mean I can't recieve or send imessages now?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.2

You had iPhone with iMessages, then switched to Android and now switched back to iPhone?

You can use iMessage just fine.
