I Just bought my iPhone 6 plus home tonight. After making a few calls, the phone lost connection and wouldn't make any new calls. Where T-Mobile and signal would normally show up it says No ServIce. I'm connected to wifi and other functions of the phone seem fine. Any ideas?

Hi everyone! Have just got my iPhone 6 and faced the same problem "searching...". Here is the solution that I found!
1. Go to Settings -> General -> About
2. Wait for few seconds
3. If an update is available, you will see a window that asks if you would like to update your carrier settings. Tap Update and Halas - it's working!

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting.

Thanks for the link. I tried all of the things listed, with no luck; but when I took the phone in this morning I was able to tell them I tried everything which made the diagnose of a bad SIM card a quick and easy fix.

I had this probem also. Tried everything and was reay to go back to old 5s when a colleague told me to take my plastic phone cover off. As soon as I took it off, it worked fine. Wierd.
i still have this problem too in my iPhone 6s Plus, i am hoping Apple will launch another update that might solve this.Because i can't keep restarting my phone to get a signal.
Same here, the only fix is to restart the phone. I'm going to try having the sim card replaced and see if that works.
I have this problem too and while I can't solve it, I found the fastest way to get back service is to slide up control panel, switch to airplane mode and immediately switch out of airplane mode. It then connects to cel service.
I called Apple support and they said it was the SIM card. I got a new SIM card and I still have the problem. I have a 6 month old iPhone 6.

As a test, turn off LTE. Does it work now? If so, turn it on, but turn off voice over LTE (set it to data only). How about now? If one or both of those help, contact AT&T and ask them to re-provision your line. Escalate the call until you get hold of someone who knows what provisioning is...
Thanks, will try. Hard to say what works because it is intermittent. I notice it at home because that's the only place I'm looking at the phone for long periods of time. Normally I have 4 bars 4G in my home. That or No Service which comes back immediately if go into and out of Airplane Mode.
Reset all network settings, just saw "no service" again. Turned off LTE and it came back on. Will see if that does it but that's a hassle.

I was facing the same issue. Sometimes, iPhone 6 goes out of network, and it never comes back to the network (regain network), even when it is in full network coverage area and is in automatic network selection mode. This is not a normal behavior of phone.
I have made multiple requests to apple, but they are not able to fix and they are so arrogant, that they simple impose the issues on network but all other phones are not facing this issue.
I have sued Apple in court and will keep you people posting here. Tomorrow is my first hearing, and will update you all as on first hearing if my case is accepted. I would suggest all to sue Apple if you don't find any help.
