Q: Why does my MacBook Pro keep freezing, rebooting, and making beeping noises?

MacBook Pro 13-inch, Mid-2012

2.5GHz Intel Core i5

4 GB 1600MHz DDR3

OS X 10.9.5

Very recently (as in the past week), I've been having problems with my MacBook Pro. It will freeze (not the rainbow pinwheel, actual frozen in place screen) and I have to force shut down, it will randomly shut down and reboot, or it will give me a black screen with 3 loud beeps. I'll be playing a game on Steam (which is on my 2TB WD My Passport for Mac), on the internet, or even logging into my desktop and my screen/mouse will freeze and I have to hold the power button until it shuts off. It also will all of a sudden shut down and reboot with a white screen appearing that says "Your MacBook Pro shut down because of a problem" in multiple languages. Another thing my laptop will do is not even completely turn on (black screen) and make 3 loud beeps followed by a pause then more beeps. Once or twice the screen has had weird purple or black squares and lines flicker on until I shut the computer down. At one point my laptop did the random shut down and reboot but did this repeatedly until I finally held the power button to shut it off.

I've been looking around for possible reasons as to why my laptop is going whacky and it seems that the condition it matches with is problems with RAM but I'm not 100% sure. I've started my laptop in safe mode, reset the PRAM/NVRAM, and ran the Apple Hardware Test twice (a short test and an extended test) which showed no problems.

I also decided to verify and repair my internal and external hard drives just to check. Neither came up with any errors. I even unscrewed the bottom of my laptop to check on the RAM chips and see if they weren't properly placed for some weird reason. This solution didn't seem to work every long either because after maybe 3 or 4 hours it froze and I had to force shut down my laptop.

Sometimes my laptop will go a full day without any of these problems and sometimes it won't go past 5 minutes. I've only had this laptop since July 2013.

I'm an animation major at school so this is a bit of a problem (all of my Adobe programs, Cloud, and drawing tablet software are located), any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks!
