You can sync them via your computer's iTunes i.e. connect the iPad to your computer, select it in your computer's iTunes, and use its Photos tab to select and sync the photos.
Or you might be able to find a CF card reader that works with the camera connection kit (lightning to USB adapter) - but a lot of CF card readers require more power than is supplied to the iPad's dock. That will also only recognise photos that are in a particular format i.e. the CF card will need to have a DCIM directory off the root of it, with the photos underneath it with filenames exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus their file extension. Or you might be able to use the camera adapter to connect the camera directly to your iPad and copy the photos off the card that way.
You can transfer images from compact flash card to Dropbox on computer or laptop.
These images will automatically appear on Dropbox on your iPad.
If the Apple camera adapter is a lighting to usb adapter. If the usb flash drive is low power enough it might work, but it most cases it requires to much power and you must get a powered usb hub. (you can get these cheap on amazon)
Hope this helps 😉
IiTunes is your best bet. Apple sells an adapter but it's hit or miss that it will work. Most tablets these days come with functioning sd slots or usb hubs. As long as you have a lap top or desktop to plug into iTunes with the lightning port works great.
Hi Have a look on Amazon they don't cost very much When we plug ours in it says unsupported but it is works with an SD card for putting Photos on iPad. Cheers Brian
If by "compact flash DEVICE" you mean a camera, purchase the correct camera adapter for your iPad. Then put the CF card in your camera and connect your camera to the iPad.
NNeed to do this on the go. With out laptop! Definitely not by connecting to camera. Thanks for the thought
