Q: iPad Mini frozen and won't upgrade!

What do you do when ALL the steps have been tried under HT201263, and I STILL have a 'iTunes Recovery' screen on the iPad Mini which will not go away, and get an error message (3014) when trying to reset it in iTunes (two different computers)?  No, hard reset does not work either!
