In which folder should I drop my REX files in order to use them in the EXS24?

you can create a folder in the ~/Library/Application Support/Sampler Instruments directory.

then you will have to use the exs24 sample instrument editor to create the .exs file. there are 3 way to use rex files in the exs24.

there are better explanations of the 3 different methods in the manual. ( i am not saying this to be a smart ***) i could try to explain, but would confuse myself and you 🙂

but i guess you could put the rex files anywhere you wanted, but save the instrument file (.exs) in the above mentioned folder.
